This play celebrates Hank Williams and his music. It’s the story of a poor southern boy with a golden voice, whose music lifted him out of the dirt and brought him fame and fortune. There’s sorrow in his fall from happiness and success, but his legacy is his music and the people he shared it with. It’s a tale worth the telling, and music steeped in the roots of the south.
